This feature in V37 simplifies taper pocket programming. Instead of creating a solid model and using 3D roughing, the 2D Pocket toolpath now lets you set a taper or draft angle directly from the wireframe.

We’ve addressed the common request for multiple tool libraries. Now, you can manage multiple libraries, enjoy a revamped tool creation workflow, improved Tool Crib, and new merge options for Tool Crib imports.

With the “ignore gaps” feature, you no longer need to create additional surfaces when cutting flat areas with gaps or fragments. The toolpath will now cut the entire surface without any CAD redesign.

Many of you requested more efficient handling of retractions, lead-ins, and linking in toolpaths to eliminate unnecessary movements.

With this enhancement, you can select the appropriate retraction mode for each hole, either prioritizing speed with G99, which reduces cycle time, or safety with G98, which avoids obstacles by retracting to a higher position. This flexibility improves workflow by eliminating the need for manual adjustments and ensuring consistency across your operations.

This smarter toolpath optimizes cutting order, reducing inefficient linking and unnecessary retractions. It prevents the tool from jumping across the part, ensuring a more efficient, continuous cut.
