BobCAD-CAM V37

BobCAD-CAM V37 introduces Multiple Tool Libraries, allowing users to organize tools by machine, manufacturer, or location. New management features include importing, merging, cloning, and copying tools across libraries. This update improves flexibility and efficiency, streamlining tool management for various machining needs.

A new button allows users to automatically remove all unused tools from the Tool Crib. Previously, this task required manual verification and deletion, which was tedious. With this new feature, a simple click is all that’s needed to eliminate any and all unused tools. You can’t get much easier than that!

BobCAD-CAM V37 introduces fixture collision detection for users without Simulation Pro, enhancing workflow safety by preventing tool-fixture collisions. Additionally, users can now customize collision tolerance values in simulation settings, enabling precise deviation analysis tailored to specific needs.

BobCAD-CAM V37 adds a Tool Tree display showing tools used alongside operations, simplifying tool count verification. Previously unavailable, this feature streamlines reviews by providing a quick, efficient overview of tools in use.

BobCAD-CAM V37 now saves the state of the Use Automatic Tool Numbering checkbox in Job Templates. Previously defaulted to checked, users had to manually adjust it. This update streamlines workflows by allowing the checkbox to remain disabled when loading templates, reducing manual changes.

The “Remove Highlight from Geometry” update in BobCAD-CAM V37 lets users clear geometry highlights by clicking anywhere, including empty space. This improves workflow by eliminating the inconvenience of lingering highlights from previous versions.
